When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son. He said, "Be strong, show yourself a man, and observe what the LORD your God requires: Walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements, as written in the Law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go, and that the LORD may keep his promise to me: 'If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.' "Now you yourself know what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me—what he did to the two commanders of Israel's armies, Abner son of Ner and Amasa son of Jether. He killed them, shedding their blood in peacetime as if in battle, and with that blood stained the belt around his waist and the sandals on his feet. Deal with him according to your wisdom, but do not let his gray head go down to the grave in peace.
"But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai of Gilead and let them be among those who eat at your table. They stood by me when I fled from your brother Absalom.
"And remember, you have with you Shimei son of Gera, the Benjamite from Bahurim, who called down bitter curses on me the day I went to Mahanaim. When he came down to meet me at the Jordan, I swore to him by the LORD : 'I will not put you to death by the sword.' But now, do not consider him innocent. You are a man of wisdom; you will know what to do to him. Bring his gray head down to the grave in blood."
Then David rested with his fathers and was buried in the City of David. He had reigned forty years over Israel—seven years in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem. So Solomon sat on the throne of his father David, and his rule was firmly established. David was so cool, why did he have to die? I would do anything to half as wise or good as him.

2 Sameul 21 - 22
The philistines went to war against Israel. David and his army went, and David got tired. One of the philistines said, I will kill David. But one of davids men killed the man. After the victory, the men said, Never go with us to war again! You will only get killed. David sang a song of praise to God. (Psalm 18)

David's men were getting ready to go to war. David's men told him not to go saying, "If we have to flee they will only pursue you, for a thousand of our men isn't important to them and our whole army isn't important to them, your what their after." So David did not go. Do you think that was right off David? If he was the King, no matter what the danger, I think he should go. He's their King. So David told them all, 'spare my son for my sake.' Absalom was fleeing. He was riding on a mule. The mule passed a large branch. Absalom's hair got stuck on the branch, and he hung there. When one of the men saw him he reported him to Joab. Joab scolded him for not killing Absalom and killed Absalom himself. David was heart broken. The men came back rejoicing until they heard David weeping for his son. Joab went up and said to David, 'Today you have put all your men in humiliation! You showed that you love those who hate you and hate those who love you! If you don't go out and thank and congratulate the troops, then no mman will be with you by nightfall!' So david went out to his troops. I wouldn't be so bold to go up there if I was the one who killed Absalom!

2 Samuel 15
Absalom would say to him, Your claims are good and right, but there is no man appointed as the king's agent to hear you.
Absalom added, Oh, that I were judge in the land! Then every man with any suit or cause might come to me and I would do him justice!
And whenever a man came near to do obeisance to him, he would put out his hand, take hold of him, and kiss him. He did this so he could win the hearts of the people, and they would want him to be king instead of Solomon. One day he said to David, 'Dad,I have to go complete a vow in Hebron.' So he went. but instead of the vow, he sent spies throughout the Land and told them that when the trumpet sounded, to say, 'Absalom is king!' Then two hundred men went with Absalom from Jerusalem, who were invited and went innocently, and they did not know anything. Poor people. Poor David. Absalom Is deceiving everyone! Imagine what would happen when David finds out. Do you think he would completely crush Absalom! What would he do?

"You are that man." Nathan said and explained the bad thing he did. Then he said, "God says:I made you king over Israel. I freed you from the fist of Saul. I gave you your master's daughter and other wives to have and to hold. I gave you both Israel and Judah. And if that hadn't been enough, I'd have gladly thrown in much more. So why have you treated the word of God with brazen contempt, doing this great evil? You murdered Uriah the Hittite, then took his wife as your wife. Worse, you killed him with an Ammonite sword! And now, because you treated God with such contempt and took Uriah the Hittite's wife as your wife, killing and murder will continually plague your family."Then David confessed to Nathan, "I've sinned against God."
Nathan pronounced, "Yes, but that's not the last word. God forgives your sin. You won't die for it. But because of your blasphemous behavior, the son born to you will die." That same day the little boy became sick. David wept and fasted for a week until his son died. When he did,David got up, worshiped and then ate. His servants asked, 'Why didyou weep when the baby was still living?'
' Becuase I thought to myself, waybe God will bring himback to me. But now that he is dead, what use is it to fast and cry? It won't bring him back.' When Nathan saidhe wouldn't die but son would, Does that mean the first punishment was called off?

One day, David asked if there was anyone left from Sauls decendants that he could show kindness to for Johnathans sake. That's loyalty. Trying to keep a promise with someone even when he's dead by doing it to his sons! There was a man who was lame, one of Johnathan's sons. Or, maybe the only ne, I'm not sure. He was brought before the king. 'Don't be scared.' David said."I have given you everything that belonged to Saul and his family. You will always eat at my table." That was sweeeet.

and his second, Chileab, by Abigail; and the third, Absalom; and the fourth, Adonijah; and the fifth, Shephatiah; and the sixth, Ithream. These were born to David at Hebron. Davids having war with the remainder of people that used to be with Saul. When Ish-Bosheth son of Saul heard that Abner had died in Hebron, he lost courage, and all Israel became alarmed. Now Saul's son had two men who were leaders of raiding bands. One was named Baanah and the other Recab; they were sons of Rimmon the Beerothite from the tribe of Benjamin. Now Recab and Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, set out for the house of Ish-Bosheth, and they arrived there in the heat of the day while he was taking his noonday rest. 6 They went into the inner part of the house as if to get some wheat, and they stabbed him in the stomach. Then Recab and his brother Baanah slipped away.
They had gone into the house while he was lying on the bed in his bedroom. After they stabbed and killed him, they cut off his head. Taking it with them, they traveled all night by way of the Arabah. 8 They brought the head of Ish-Bosheth to David at Hebron and said to the king, "Here is the head of Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, your enemy, who tried to take your life. This day the LORD has avenged my lord the king against Saul and his offspring." David killed them too. Even when Saul's dead David still protects him!

When David and his men came to Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. David's two wives had been captured—Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God. David ROCKS! He seeks God in every hour and remembers him even in his trouble. David inquired of the LORD, "Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?" "Pursue them," he answered. "You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue." An old Egyptian slave led David down, and there they were, scattered over the countryside, eating, drinking and reveling because of the great amount of plunder they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from Judah. David fought them from dusk until the evening of the next day, and none of them got away, except four hundred young men who rode off on camels and fled. David recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. Nothing was missing: young or old, boy or girl, plunder or anything else they had taken. David brought everything back. He took all the flocks and herds, and his men drove them ahead of the other livestock, saying, "This is David's plunder."

The NIV. calls this chapter: Saul and the Witch of Endor. When Saul goes out to battle against the Philistines, he was afraid. He asked God for help, but God didnt' answer. I would be scared too. So he calls a witch to bring Samuel back for a while. Saul Asked Samuel and Samuel said that the kindom was torn from him. He and his sons would die and David would take his place. And this was punishment for not dealing with the Amalikites. The woman and his men urged him to eat and he did. The woman had a fattened calf at the house, which she butchered at once. She took some flour, kneaded it and baked bread without yeast. Then she set it before Saul and his men, and they ate. That same night they got up and left.

Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father and said to him, "Let not the king do wrong to his servant David; he has not wronged you, and what he has done has benefited you greatly. He took his life in his hands when he killed the Philistine. The LORD won a great victory for all Israel, and you saw it and were glad. Why then would you do wrong to an innocent man like David by killing him for no reason?" So Saul swore to never kill him. But alas, an evil spirit came upon him and he threw his spear at David who was playing him harp. David evaded it. That night David made good his escape. Saul sent men to David's house to watch it and to kill him in the morning. But Michal, David's wife, warned him, "If you don't run for your life tonight, tomorrow you'll be killed." So Michal let David down through a window, and he fled and escaped. Then Michal took an idol and laid it on the bed, covering it with a garment and putting some goats' hair at the head. She is a brave woman. When Saul sent the men to capture David, Michal said, "He is ill." Then Saul sent the men back to see David and told them, "Bring him up to me in his bed so that I may kill him." But when the men entered, there was the idol in the bed, and at the head was some goats' hair. And she's smart too. David had fled to Samuel and Saul's men pursued him. But along the road, they saw some prophets prophesying and they started doing it too.So Saul went to Naioth at Ramah. But the Spirit of God came even upon him, and he walked along prophesying until he came to Naioth.

Saul's being grumpy
Saul was very angry; this refrain galled him. "They have credited David with tens of thousands," he thought, "but me with only thousands. What more can he get but the kingdom?" The next day an evil spirit from God came forcefully upon Saul. He was prophesying in his house, while David was playing the harp, as he usually did. Saul had a spear in his hand 11 and he hurled it, saying to himself, "I'll pin David to the wall." But David eluded him twice. EMBARRASSING! And from that time on Saul kept a jealous eye on David. Saul said to David, "Here is my older daughter Merab. I will give her to you in marriage; only serve me bravely and fight the battles of the LORD." For Saul said to himself, "I will not raise a hand against him. Let the Philistines do that!" His little "plan" didn't work making him very angry. The Philistine commanders continued to go out to battle, and as often as they did, David met with more success than the rest of Saul's officers, and his name became well known.
Monday, October 20, 2008
"You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I'll strike you down and cut off your head. Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give all of you into our hands." He is completly counting on God to do anything.

Jonathan said, "Come, then; we will cross over toward the men and let them see us. If they say to us, 'Wait there until we come to you,' we will stay where we are and not go up to them. But if they say, 'Come up to us,' we will climb up, because that will be our sign that the LORD has given them into our hands." So both of them showed themselves to the Philistine outpost. "Look!" said the Philistines. "The Hebrews are crawling out of the holes they were hiding in." The men of the outpost shouted to Jonathan and his armor-bearer, "Come up to us and we'll teach you a lesson."
So Jonathan said to his armor-bearer, "Climb up after me; the LORD has given them into the hand of Israel."Jonathan climbed up, using his hands and feet, with his armor-bearer right behind him. The Philistines fell before Jonathan, and his armor-bearer followed and killed behind him. In that first attack Jonathan and his armor-bearer killed some twenty men in an area of about half an acre. Then panic struck the whole army—those in the camp and field, and those in the outposts and raiding parties—and the ground shook. It was a panic sent by God. That day the Philistines were routed.

The next day Saul separated his men into three divisions; during the last watch of the night they broke into the camp of the Ammonites and slaughtered them until the heat of the day. Those who survived were scattered, so that no two of them were left together. That day Saul was confirmed as King. Now Samuel is making his goodbye speech thats very long.
Tuesday, October 14, 2008
Samel started to name the tribe, and the tribe of Benjamine was chosen. Then he started to name the clans, and the clan of Matrni was chosen. Then Saul was chosen. When they looked for Saul, he was not there. God said he was hiding among the baggage. So they looked for him. Was it that he didn't want to be king? They brought him out and the people exclaimed "LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!!"
Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched. But some troublemakers said, "How can this fellow save us?" They despised him and brought him no gifts. But Saul kept silent. I don't think they would be trouble makers. They shoudn't have a king anyway.

The Ark gets Returned to Israel
Wednesday, October 1, 2008
1st Sammy 5
They answered, "Have the ark of the god of Israel moved to Gath." So they moved the ark of the God of Israel. But of course, the same thing happened. So they moved it again! This time the people saw it coming and made plans to take it away. Smart people.

1st Samuel 4
So the Philistines fought, and the Israelites were defeated and every man fled to his tent. The slaughter was very great; Israel lost thirty thousand foot soldiers. The ark of God was captured, and Eli's two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, died. Just as God said they would die. So a man fled from the battle feild and told the bad news. Eli asked: "What is the meaning of this uproar?"
The man hurried over to Eli, who was ninety-eight years old and whose eyes were set so that he could not see. He told Eli, "I have just come from the battle line; I fled from it this very day."
Eli asked, "What happened, my son?"
The man who brought the news replied, "Israel fled before the Philistines, and the army has suffered heavy losses. Also your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, are dead, and the ark of God has been captured." Then Eli fell back in his chair, broke his neck, and died.

1st Samuel 2 and 3
Eli had evil sons. His son's did really, REALLY, bad stuff. But Samuel was ministering before the LORD -a boy wearing a linen ephod. Each year his mother made him a little robe and took it to him when she went up with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice. Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, "May the LORD give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the LORD." Then they would go home. And the LORD was gracious to Hannah; she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD. One day, an Angel came and said to Eli that his son's were wicked and their going to die on the same day. He also said that all his descendants will die when they're still young. Poor Eli. So a few days Later, God called Samuel while he was in his bed. So he went to Eli. "Did you call me?" "No" After this happened a few times, Eli Found out that it was God.So when God called again, Samuel said "Speak, for your servant is listening. God told him that all that was said about Eli would come true soon. Samuel was afraid to tell Eli. But Eli asked him and he told. Then Eli said, "He is the LORD; let him do what is good in his eyes." He takes that so well. But soon it became obvious that Samuel was Going to be the new preist.

1st Samuel!
"Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD. Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief." Then Eli said: Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him." So she did have a baby. So she named him Samuel and dedicated him to the Lord, then after he was weaned, she gave him over to Eli. She is good to her promise. We should be like that.

Halloween?
Monday, September 22, 2008
Meanwhile Boaz went up to the town gate and sat there. When the kinsman-redeemer he had mentioned came along, Boaz said, "Come over here, my friend, and sit down." So he went over and sat down. Well they chated a little about it and it turned out the man couldn't do it.
Then Boaz announced to the elders and all the people, "Today you are witnesses that I have bought from Naomi all the property of Elimelech, Kilion and Mahlon. 10 I have also acquired Ruth the Moabitess, Mahlon's widow, as my wife, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property, so that his name will not disappear from among his family or from the town records. Today you are witnesses!" So, Ruth agreed with that last part right? And in the end, she had a little boy.

Ruth - again
At mealtime Boaz said to her, "Come over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar." When she sat down with the harvesters, he offered her some roasted grain. She ate all she wanted and had some left over. As she got up to glean, Boaz gave orders to his men, "Even if she gathers among the sheaves, don't embarrass her. Rather, pull out some stalks for her from the bundles and leave them for her to pick up, and don't rebuke her." He's hitin' on her. So Ruth gleaned in the field until evening. Then she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah. She carried it back to town, and her mother-in-law saw how much she had gathered. Ruth also brought out and gave her what she had left over after she had eaten enough. She got to keep all that? Hmm. Her mother-in-law asked her, "Where did you glean today? Where did you work? Blessed be the man who took notice of you!" So Ruth told her all about Boaz. Naomi said "The LORD bless him!" Naomi said to her daughter-in-law. "He has not stopped showing his kindness to the living and the dead." She added, "That man is our close relative; he is one of our kinsman-redeemers."
"He even said to me, 'Stay with my workers until they finish harvesting all my grain.' "
Naomi said to Ruth, "It will be good for you, my daughter, to go with his girls, because in someone else's field you might be harmed."
So Ruth stayed close to the servant girls of Boaz to glean until the barley and wheat harvests were finished. And she lived with her mother-in-law.

Ruth
The foreman replied, "She is the Moabitess who came back from Moab with Naomi. She said, 'Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the harvesters.' She went into the field and has worked steadily from morning till now, except for a short rest in the shelter." So he came to her and said for her to not go to glean in another field, follow along with my servant girls, the guys won't touch you, and you can have a drink whenever. At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She exclaimed, "Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?"
"I've heard how good you've been to your mother-in-law."
Olay, I know I'm kinda in the middle of it but that's it for today!

So much to post about. Or not as much as I think. Either one.
- Saturday was soccer game day. Sticks, Mom and a friend went to Boulder to play a game. He won 3 to 2. By the way, he scored two of them! Good job!
- Dad coaches Fire, Jess's team. He scored a lot and so did every one else on his team. Most of them anyway. They got patches to iron onto their shirts for scoring or something else good. Cute. Your a good coach Dad. Good job Jess!
- I'm not very interested in watching soccer games:(( But I love playing them. Even though watching J man juke people out of their shoes, I didn't watch all of it though. The babies were fussy cuz they hadn't been down for a nap the whole day. Luckily, mom came. They were still fussy though. But he won. Of course! Good job!
This is the other section:
We were going to have dinner with friends from our home school group at a park. We didn't know them very well. When we got there we unloaded and checked out the place. It was a great park. Complete with a mini football field. That was complete with field goals. Awesome.
They came! We had taken the flags to play flag football. After we ate, we played. Flag football that is. We kept on tying the game up until we tried field goals. We tied that up too. Eventually, my team lost. Oh well. It got dark, so after we ate some pie, we played kick ball. How appropriate. It was so dark we could barely see! The moms played too and the parents won. After that we went home.
This is the other other section:
This was Sunday. Mom had to stay home cuz of the babies. They were sick. And so were J man and Jess. I got Lane as a back-up bulletin passer-person to cover for J man. Since were members Meggy does the keyboard, Dad does the drums, Lane takes turns doing keyboard, sticks does waypiont, which is the controls to the big screen, I do bullietin passing out, and J man helps. Thats just about it!

Today
- Got up really early with Lane, ( Okay, it was 7:12 A.M) but still, it was dark and you would think it was six. I've somehow grown into the habit of waking up early. But anyway I did my bible time and get my chores done. We're supposed to do that before breakfast.
- By then people started to get up. Since it was so dark no one thought it was time to get going!
- Ate a simple breakfast of eggs.
- Brushed me and Bird's teeth. Birdie is my new Buddie.
- Morning meeting. That's when Mom tells us whats going on today, reads the Bible and maybe tell us some news we didn't know. By then it was 9:00.
- Started to get my school done. Starting with math.
- Later on in the day, Meggy and Mom went to lunch bunch. It's something that a few people participate with in church that they do every 1st Thursday of the month. Of course, they have lunch at a restaurant. Mom takes turns taking us.
- They stayed a long time and I got done with school. Meanwhile, Lane got a call from mom saying to tell Me and sticks to get ready to go to a flea market. I had been waiting for this all week. So he and I waited in the garage for about 45 Min. Then Lane came saying they were on their way. "You said that 45 min. ago!" We thought. They came to pick us up. We drove up there. That was a flea market you had to flee! They had some naughty things there. Big disappiontment. I love garage sales! Oh well.

Cool (and nervousing) stuff
- First, I want to talk about oral reports. Some kind of scary speech you'll have to do in front of everybody. sheebilees. All of the kids in our Family (and probably the whole home school group) don't want to do it."It'll be fun!" parents say. YEAH RIGHT!!! (Was that disrespectful?) Anyway, I'll probably get used to it after I do it once or twice. Yes, we have to do it more than once.
- New jurisdictions. I've got tea.You might not think it so bad except for the fact you have to decide what were having, Make it, witch isn't so bad, set it on the table, then clean it up.Wow. It makes me want to do something sloppy so I won't have to do dishes. But the other side of me tells me "NO! Make it nice and fancy" That side usually gets me. By the way, that's not the only thing I've got I just don't want to talk about the rest right now.
- Company. Someone from our church is here right now. He came over for dinner because his wife's gone to Florida because of a funeral. Speaking of Church, I pass out fliers! I kind of feel sorry for the older people cuz they have to find were I am, maybe even walk across the church to get some extra for others. Aww

Usual teams:
1st team: Dad Lane and I
2nd team: Sticks, J man and Jess.
Well, yesterday we switched the teams up. I didn't like the idea, but oh well. Lane Sticks and I last both games. Too bad! I see the little boys improving every day! Good job, boys!

favorites
- The little boy's favorite thing is robots. They dream about making them and use whatever dad says they can in the garage to do it. J dude got a water-powered robotic arm that can pick something up when you control it for his tooth-fairy present. They also beg me to rent a book that tells you how to make a robot when we go to the library.
- Bird's favorite thing is dolls I guess. When she got one for her birthday she called it "that one" and she still calls it that.
- Froggy's favorite thing is books.
- Lane's favorite thing is crochet - I think.
- Sticks favorite thing is?????
- Meggy's favorite thing is either reading books, cheking blogs, or listening to music.
- I don't know what Mom's or Dad's is.

Vacation is fun
I'm getting kind of mixed up with when things started so It's not going to be exactly how it really was. Well they all wen to garden of the gods while Bird, Baby Z. Grandma and I stayed home.when they all came back Mom said "Next time we go with the Wingcuzins, your going." But dad said "you didn't miss much, just a bunch of big rocks."
The sleep over was really fun. But Tate got to come too. I feel uncomfortable sleeping with two boys. Now you must under stand,we were all dirty and gross but that was soon changed. Grandma told us all exactly how to use the shower and what everything was. C.T went first. Then Tate. Then me. It was a great shower. You could take down the sprayer and spray yourself. Then when we were all in our beds we watched book of secrets till midnight accidentally.
In the morning, we drove an hour all the way back to our house to get Lane so we could go to the hair salon. Turned out she changed her mind. Oh well. So I got my hair cut shoulder length and highlighted it. It was free cuz my great aunt owns it. Cloe went to and she wanted to get her highlights blue! Aunt Mitch said no but she was allowed to have one light blue strip of fake hair. It looks cute! Grandma and Aunt Mitch got their hair cuts too!
The next day it was decided that we would go rafting! We all loaded onto the bus while the guy told us what we were supposed to do. Then we got out. our guide told us places to sit and C.T and Tate volunteered to go in the front and I was the only one that didn't have to row and I got to sit in the middle of the front row. We moved into the rapids and the waves got rough! Aunt Mitch wore a splash jacket and was pretty upset when she got wet! When we got out of the rapids we almost tipped a couple times and as we moved past a big rock, the guide jumped of the boat onto the rock and into the water! It was funny. Grandpa was challenged to sit at the very edge in the front of the boat. He did, and after a while Aunt Mitch pushed him off!
Later, as in a couple of days later, Grandma wanted to take us to water world! But after dad gave us the reasons why not, we went to the Zoo instead. the Zoo,was a really close, really fun place to go to. It even had ant eaters, gonc, (Jess's word for a pelican) Penguins, black bears, brown bears, lemurs, and all sorts of things!
That night, or I think that night, they had to leave. *sniff* But vacatoin is fun.

Joshua
Then, I read about how God lifted Joshua up and led them across the Jordan on dry ground. I think God shouldn't have to lift him up to show the people that they can listen to don't ya think?

After the forty years had passed, the Israelites continued to make their journey to the promised land. I think they were probably mad that they couldn't come to the promised land sooner because of their parents. they probably had to pray to God and ask him to not harbor anger in their hearts. I know I probably would have to! God told them to basically plow through the land defeating any cities in their path. I wonder if any of them died, or if it was just their job to do it happily.

happy birthday to Meggy!!!
it's Meggy's B/day!!! Last night Meggy was on the computer upstairs while we made preparations downstairs. Jess made the idea of cutting little paper triangles with punched holes in them to string and hang up. Every body liked it and were gonna do it on the next birthday too! He also liked to blow up balloons with the balloon-blower-upper or what ever it's called. We also went to the store and was thinking about buying her some weights. It didn't work out but we bought and bought her a really cool thing that's twenty times better. I can't tell what it is until Meggy posts about it but it's great.
Happy birth day Meg!
