O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Right now, David's got his priorities straight. This was a psalm when david was really in the desert. And he was thirsty.... Duh! But he wanted God more than anything in life right then, even more than life itself.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

I love that you're doing the psalms! Aren't they very helpful in understanding things like how DEEP Davids love was for God. It's a lot more descriptive that saying, "David loved God". Ya know what I mean?
