and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.

I'm in Proverbs! It's my favorite book of the bible. I'm not sure why, but I just love it!

If you want knowledge, you've gotta search for it. You can't just expect it to come waltzing up to your house and knock on the door. You've gotta search like it is more precious than gold! which, it is. It's also a shield that protects you from, alot of stuff:

He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you. Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,  who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,  whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.  It will save you also from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words,  who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God. For her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead. None who go to her return or attain the paths of life.  Thus you will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the unfaithful will be torn from it.

His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man;  the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

God doesn't really care if you're strong. You could be a wimpy person. you could be crippled. But that's how he made you. If you're naturally wimpy, that's OK. Now, if it's you re fault, like if you re eating a lot of sugar, and you know you're gaining weight , and you really don't care in the least, well,  You are a temple for the Lord and God also said to take care of you're body.

O LORD, what is man that you care for him,
the son of man that you think of him?

That's so true. the bible says wer'e like smoke, then we're gone, and yet the Lord still cares for us and watches out for us? That's pretty incredible.

Let a righteous man [a] strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it. Yet my prayer is ever against the deeds of evildoers.

The note thingamajig says, or 'Let the Righteous One '. So he means God. But how is that and honor, in any way?

Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused.  Let burning coals fall upon them; may they be thrown into the fire, into miry pits, never to rise. Let slanderers not be established in the land; may disaster hunt down men of violence.

I noticed that David never says any names when he curses the bad guys. it's always 'they' or 'those who are proud' or 'evil men' . It's never their actual name. In psalm 16 he says that, "I will not pour out their libations of blood, or take up their name upon my lips" He kept that promise quite well indeed.
