The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
David wrote all of these verses. He was a just about fearless man. David was also spiritually one of the most wisest men. At least that's what I think. Often we tend to care to much about what people think of us, or what they might do or say. Why? The reason is mostly we don't realize that what they say doesn't matter. What God says matters. And it's not only what they say, it's also what they do that doesn't matter. Cuz God made you special, and he loves you very much.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

God knows the plans he has for you, and if you're abiding in him, than He will give you a hope and a future. So when you worry that you're useless, you know that you're really not, because God has promised you in that verse that you're not.

Yesterday was church with the mexican people. They are one fun bunch of people. The psator would take the time to say some thing in spanish, then say it all over again in english. It was also fun to sing their songs. But that day tought me something I never qiute understood so well. Our relationship with God, the christian body, is everywhere. In different tonges different sorts of people. And it's so great when we get to meet the part of our family we never knew. To fellowship with them, sing their songs, and to get to worship with them is just - wow. Dad describes it as a sample of heaven. All our family, spanish, korean, african, brazilian, Were getting to meet them.

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Building each other up is very important to relationships. But is it what you are doing? We tend to tear each other down way to much. But what we don't realize at the moment is that it's probably not that important, and that you are not tearing down the person only at the moment, but your'e also tearing down relation ship that person. Eventually you're going to hate each other. So, Is it really worth that?

17 GOD CARES!!!!

The day before yesterday night God did something really cool. He gave me a sceeeeeeery dream. I woke woke up all scared. But then this song came into my head. No doubt it was God reminding me. 'When I am afraid I will trust in you, I will trust in you, I will trust in you.' After listening to that in my head I prayed that I wouldn't be scared and went back to sleep, as good as ever. it showes how much God really cares about us, even if it's only a bad dream.

generosity

Psalm 37:25-27 (New International Version)
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed. Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever.
So if you are generous, than you're children will be blessed! Generousity is sweet for every one. thing sweet for the giver, sweet for the getter, sweet to God, and it blesses your'e children. So really, generosity is some thing that you really want to look out for.

Have you ever wondered if you're doing what God wants you to be doing? Well, there is a solution to knowing that! If you are in the center of Gods will, praying and asking him to help, then you're going to do the right thing. If you are giving your'e complete life to him, then your'e going to always do the right thing. But because we want to do things without God to much, we tend to do the wrong things way to often. So today and every day, Give yourself to God.

Galatians 5 :19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Isn't it strange how the fruits of the spirit and the acts of sinful nature are right beside each other? God knows that you're gonna need help doing the right things, so he gets Paul who puts a list of of the bad things, then how to counter them. God is not just going to leave us on our own. we need to trust him to put us where we need to be. Our hearts are kind of like a messed up X - box controlor. Our bodies are the person inside the screen. Sometimes when an X - box controler is messed up, it wont go the way you want it to. So God has to work on fixing us up untill we obey and trust him. So, don't be a messed up X - box controller today. You probably won't end up enjoying it.

Thankfulness is a big step in our walk with God. Imagine what this world would be if no one was thankful. I imagine it a lot worse that it probably would be. But we tend to take life for granted. Today, you shouldn't only be thankful, but you should try to LOOK for thankfulness.

Day 12 JEALOUSY

But on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.

Jealousy is something I think we all have had to deal with. What happened in the story of Cain and Abel? Cain killed Abel and he was a cursed man for the rest of his life. Jealously leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to turning away from God. If your jealous of someone, your'e later probably regret it for the rest of your lives. just like Cain, and Josephs brothers. Try not to be Jealous today - or any other day.

Considering one anothers interest is kindness. I have braces now. Cuz Mom is so considerate, [as she always is] she bought me yogurt and yogurt and canned soup stuff. Thanks mom! Considering one anothers interests could get you out of fights, and you build a stronger relaton ship with that person. So try to consider!
